What is smudging?
Traditionally used in smudging ceremonies by First Nations- with Paul Santo, sweet grass, or sage, intended to purify and cleanse the soul or the environment body and mind from negative energy. Smudging fans, despite its traditional use can also make a nice decorative housewarming gift for cleansing and blessing ones new home.Smudging rituals are used to cleanse a person place or object of negative energies, spirits, or influences . It is the ritual of cleansing and purification for the physical and spiritual bodies to remove negative energy. It could also be used to draw in positive energies and as a means of creating smoke to carry our prayers up to the great spirit.
